Soft, juicy Cotes du Rhone with classic strawberry Grenache fruit matched with Syrah's tell-tale peppery spice. Rounded, ripe and fruity with bags of character.

This wine is from the Southern Rhône region in France and is made from a blend of different grape varieties, the most well known is Shiraz (which is called Syrah in France). It has lots of intense, red fruit flavours and aromas and some spiciness.

The Pierre Dorvin wines are made under the watchful eye of Ralph Garcin, the chief winemaker at Louis Bernard, based at the very picturesque Chartreuse de Bonpas, a 12th century convent located just outside of Avignon. Ralph's clearly stated aim with the Pierre Dorvin range is to produce wines that reflect the character of the southern Rhone at a very pocket-friendly price.
